Shan Holleman was born in Atlanta, Georgia. The daughter of parents who are both attorneys, Shan has six siblings. Holleman began her career in the entertainment industry as a runway and print model at age fourteen. Shan attended Providence Christian Academy in Lilburn, Georgia from 1992 to 1994 and graduated from Shilogh High School in Snelville, Georgia in 1996.
